Mindy Harmer, MA, CCC-SLP

Mindy Harmer received her Master of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and went on to do additional graduate work at Vanderbilt University in the early 1990s. She has practiced in the field of speech-language pathology for the past 15 years as a private practitioner, specializing in pediatrics. Mindy is co-owner of Cierra Therapy where she treats clients with a variety of speech-language and feeding disorders. Some of her tiniest clients are breastfeeding babies who require her knowledge of oral-motor intervention to help them breastfeed successfully. She became interested in breastfeeding when she was encouraged to pump breastmilk for her son who was born with a congenital heart defect. Mindy resides in Twin Falls, Idaho, with her husband, Eric Herzog, and their two children.
