The Spanish version of the Diaper Diary. The Diaper Diary is a tear-off sheet. The front of the tear-off sheet features pictures of what the diaper of a breastfed baby can look like during the first week. The back of the tear-off sheet features a "First Week Diaper Diary" with a space each day for feedings, wet diapers, and green or yellow poops. There is a brief description of when to call your doctor.
The tear-off sheet can be very helpful when working with new mothers. It helps them see what is normal for a breastfed baby, helps them track their baby, alerts them to what is not normal, and when they should seek help.
